Synopsis
A Power Unbound closes out the trilogy that began with A Marvellous Light, bringing the conspiracy threading through the earlier two books to a head as its consequences reach further into the magical society's institutions and history. The novel centers on characters introduced across the series as they confront the architects behind the plots that have endangered them, drawing together threads about hidden magical power and the society's own buried secrets. As alliances forged over the course of the trilogy are tested under greater pressure than before, the characters must decide how far they are willing to go, and whom they are willing to trust, to stop a danger whose roots extend back to the very foundation of the magical world Robin was thrust into in the first book.
