Synopsis

A Wizard Abroad, fourth novel in the Young Wizards series, sends Nita to Ireland for the summer at her parents' insistence, in hopes of putting some distance between her and her wizardly responsibilities, a move that separates her from her partner, Kit, during what turns out to be a critical time. Once in Ireland, Nita discovers the country is experiencing serious magical instability, with sudden sideways shifts between different times and worlds, and a fox she encounters hints at the presence of a far greater supernatural threat lurking beneath the disturbances. Learning that wizards across the region must unite to confront this ancient evil, Nita sets out to locate a set of four powerful relics needed to counter it.
