Synopsis
The final volume of the original Achaja trilogy turns to war. Achaja has been a princess, a slave, a soldier and a swordswoman, and now she commands the army of Arkach in an invasion of the Luan empire. She is also expected to found a new ruling dynasty in the order that follows. The publisher's text calls her a broken slave, an honorable soldier and a monster with a golden heart, and frames the book as the final chapter of a story written in the suffering of thousands of Syrinx's victims.
