Synopsis
Virion is an outcast who lives in a frontier settlement with his unusual wife and hopes to find a quiet place to settle. A large manhunt forces him to keep moving, and the borders of the Empire offer only dangerous options. His pursuer is not an ordinary squad but an exceptionally capable sorceress who specializes in finding people and will hand over a captive alive for the right fee.
