Synopsis
Long before humans reached North America, a humanoid race with supernatural powers, the Shonokins, lived on the continent. When people migrated from Asia the Shonokins were defeated and went into hiding. Now, in a small Southern mountain town, they seek out John, a wandering musician with a silver-stringed guitar and a deep knowledge of country witchcraft. They hope to recover their lost power with his help, though they may try to deceive him to get it. John's travels have brought him to a regional music festival, where he is drawn into the old conflict. He and his friends must decide whom to trust and hold out against a supernatural siege as night falls.
