Synopsis

Always Forever, concluding Mark Chadbourn's Age of Misrule trilogy, finds Church, Ruth and their fellow Brothers and Sisters of Dragons, Ryan, Laura and Shavi, joining their mentor Tom for a final stand in the eternal conflict between the Light and the Dark that has consumed Britain since the old gods' return. Caught between the benevolent but demanding Tuatha De Danann and the destructive, monstrous Fomorii, the group must draw on their mysterious, land-given powers in a last, desperate attempt to save the human race from being caught in the crossfire of a war it never asked to be part of. Their efforts build toward a convergence of forces on London, where the outcome of the old gods' war, and of humanity's place in it, will finally be decided.

Notes

  • From the series record (Age of Misrule): Core Canon = all 3 novels of the completed Age of Misrule trilogy. Years taken from the author's own Wikipedia bibliography (1999/2000/2001) after other listings (a reader-catalogue series page, the World's End Wikipedia infobox) gave slightly inconsistent years for the same books.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings, but they resolve to the exact same sequence for this book, so one combined line is shown instead of two identical ones.
