Overview
Age of Misrule is a completed contemporary-fantasy trilogy in which the Celtic gods of the Tuatha De Danann and the monstrous Fomorii return to a modern Britain where technology has begun mysteriously failing. World's End (1999) introduces the small band of ordinary people drawn into the reawakened myth cycle; Darkest Hour (2000) and Always Forever (2001) carry the war between the returned gods to its conclusion.
