Synopsis
The Cascade, a surge of power that has been building for some time, is heading toward a catastrophic peak. Elena Deveraux, an angel and the consort of Archangel Raphael, resists its attempt to make her a vessel for Raphael's power, but the struggle changes both of them. Around the world, violent and eerie events threaten whole populations. In the territory once ruled by the Archangel Lijuan, an unnatural fog rolls across the land and leaves only silence behind.
