Synopsis
Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony centers on the demon island of Hybras, a realm that was long ago banished into Limbo to keep its inhabitants hidden from the human world. When circumstances threaten to expose the demons to discovery, Artemis and his allies work alongside a powerful demon warlock to bring Hybras back from Limbo before the secret of the demons' existence can be revealed. The effort to retrieve the lost colony forces Artemis into new territory even by his own standards, working against a ticking clock and forces far older and stranger than the fairy technology and goblin schemes he has previously navigated, as the fate of an entire hidden demon population hangs in the balance.
