Synopsis
Beasts of Ruin picks up after the events of Beasts of Prey, finding Koffi imprisoned within Thornkeep, a deceptively beautiful mansion, after pledging herself to serve the god of death as a consequence of what happened during the hunt for the Shetani. Inside Thornkeep, a mysterious and deadly mist both threatens Koffi and seems to call out to her own growing magical powers, drawing her deeper into the mansion's dangers even as she tries to resist its pull. Meanwhile Ekon, now a fugitive from the very warriors he once hoped to join, is forced to forge uneasy alliances with unlikely companions in his effort to reach Koffi and free her from Thornkeep before its influence over her becomes permanent.
