Synopsis
Two of the greatest swordsmen of the age, Ximen Chuixue and Ye Gucheng, have arranged to fight a duel on a palace rooftop on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the whole martial world is waiting for the date. In the days before it, Ximen Chuixue disappears, Ye Gucheng is wounded, and several people are poisoned or murdered. Lu Xiaofeng, a friend of both swordsmen, is asked to find out what is happening before the festival arrives. Working against the clock in the imperial palace and the surrounding city, he has to separate the real cause of the trouble from the many people who have reasons to want the duel to fail.
