Synopsis
Binti returns home to Earth once again, working to further develop her abilities as a harmonizer while facing a critical and rapidly escalating conflict between the Khoush people and the Meduse, the alien species her friend Okwu belongs to. With old tensions from her earlier journeys resurfacing and threatening to erupt into open war between the two peoples, Binti must draw on everything she has learned, about harmonizing, about her own changing nature, and about the fragile trust she has built between Khoush and Meduse, to try to prevent the conflict from spiraling out of control. Her efforts to keep the peace are complicated by forces and consequences from her earlier travels that she has not yet fully reckoned with.
