Synopsis
Gin Blanco, the assassin known as the Spider, has survived the defeat of Mab Monroe, but enemies still target her and her friends. A newcomer, M. M. Monroe, who is Mab's daughter, works to trap Gin in a web of deceit and frame her for murder. Gin suspects that a run of bad luck among her friends is part of a larger plan aimed at her, and she worries that her Ice and Stone magic may not be enough to stop it. She sets out to uncover what the newcomer wants before the trap closes around her and the people who depend on her.
