Synopsis
The thirteenth and final novel of the Chicagoland Vampires series finds Merit continuing her duties as Sentinel of Cadogan House alongside her bonded partner, Master vampire Ethan Sullivan. When the House is breached and Merit encounters a vampire twisted by dark magic, it becomes clear that a familiar enemy, previously thwarted, has returned with a new and more dangerous plan: turning vampire against vampire to bring down Cadogan House from within. As unfamiliar and unsettling sorcery spreads through Chicago's supernatural community, Merit must confront powers beyond anything she has faced before, all while trying to hold her House, her allies, and her relationship with Ethan together under mounting pressure, knowing that stopping this threat may demand everything she has.
