Synopsis
Blood Communion follows Lestat de Lioncourt as he works to establish himself as Prince, a unifying leader meant to bring the fractured and often warring vampire world together into a single tribe rather than scattered, mutually suspicious factions. His efforts are complicated by Rhoshamandes, a dangerous and ancient rival vampire who resists Lestat's authority and poses a direct threat to the fragile order Lestat is trying to build. As Lestat navigates the political and personal challenges of vampire leadership, the novel follows his attempts to balance the demands of unifying a notoriously individualistic species against the immediate danger Rhoshamandes represents to that project.
