Synopsis
Blood Games has Merit, Sentinel of Cadogan House, hunting a serial killer stalking Chicago, whose crime scenes are marked by uncanny magical traces left behind at each murder. As the body count climbs, the case forces an uneasy cooperation between the city's vampires and its human authorities, despite the underlying distrust between them. Merit, drawing on the alliances she has built across Chicago's supernatural community during her time as Cadogan House's protector, races to identify the killer's methods and motive before the pattern claims another victim, aware that her own visibility as a vampire investigator may put her within the killer's reach as well.
