Synopsis
Dark Debt finds Merit, Sentinel of Cadogan House, balancing her demanding duties alongside House Master Ethan Sullivan of the newly formed American Association of Vampires when an old friend arrives with an urgent request. Morgan Greer, Master of the rival House Navarre, has become entangled in a serious debt that threatens both himself and his House, and turns to Merit for help despite the awkward history between them. Reluctant to turn her back on someone in genuine trouble, Merit agrees to look into Morgan's situation, drawing her into a problem that reaches beyond Navarre House and complicates her already crowded responsibilities to Cadogan House and the wider vampire community of Chicago.
