Synopsis
Bloodchild concludes the Godblind trilogy, bringing the war between Rilpor and the Mireces, and the deeper conflict between the Ranged and blood-god faiths that has driven the series since Godblind, to its culmination. Characters established across the first two novels, drawn from both Rilporian and Mireces society, confront the accumulated consequences of the invasion and the religious zealotry that has fueled it, as the kingdom's survival and the fate of its gods hang in the balance. The trilogy's final volume draws together the political, military, and religious threads built up across Godblind and Darksoul as the long-building confrontation between Rilpor and the Mireces reaches its climax.
