Synopsis
In the land of Maras-Dantia the coming of humans has brought war and the draining of the land’s magic, and the orcs and the other elder races face the end of their world. Stryke, captain of the Wolverines, a warband of orcs joined by a single dwarf, Jup, decides it is time for his band to take control of its own destiny. With his sergeants and the rest of the Wolverines he sets out to find the five scattered pieces of an ancient artefact said to be able to overturn the world and open a gate to new ones. The novel tells its story from the point of view of fantasy’s traditional enemy.
