Synopsis
Years after the quest for the five instrumentalities, the ancient artefacts that together open a gateway between worlds, Stryke and the Wolverines have settled on Ceragan, an orc world far from the corrupted land of Maras-Dantia. Peace leaves the warband restless and without purpose, and the news that the sorceress Jennesta, their old tormentor, is still alive and hunting the artefacts so that she can rule every world gives them a reason to fight again. Using the instrumentalities, the band crosses to Acurial, a lush world whose native orcs are cruelly kept down by their conquerors, and the struggle to save the orc race from humans and sorceress alike moves across the dimensions.
