Synopsis
War is tearing Maras-Dantia apart: the elder races are fighting the human invaders, and the humans themselves are split into two warring sects. Stryke and his Wolverines press on with their hunt for the five instrumentalities, the ancient artefacts that could secure the future of the orcs and, though the band does not know it, of every race in the land, old and new. The search grows more urgent and more dangerous with every step. As their enemies close in from all sides and the band’s troopers fall one by one to foes stranger than anything they had imagined, Stryke stands to lose not only his warband but the future of his people and of the land itself.
