Synopsis
Wulf is a young novice monk who is sent to spy on Spook Johnson, a man who claims to fight demons. Wulf expects to find a fraud, but the creatures turn out to be real, and he is pulled into a dangerous new world he did not choose. He teams up with Tom Ward, another young spook, as a fresh threat rises in the County, one that only Wulf has the power to stop. Wulf must learn what he is capable of while keeping alive those around him, and decide where his loyalties lie between the monastery he left and the work he has found.
