Synopsis

Chasing the Prophecy concludes Brandon Mull's Beyonders trilogy. Armed with the words of a prophecy left by a dying oracle at Mianamon, Jason Walker and Rachel lead separate bands of allies on parallel journeys across Lyrian, each following their own portion of the prophecy's guidance in pursuit of a way to finally bring down the wizard-emperor Maldor. Their paths take them through new and dangerous parts of Lyrian, testing alliances formed in the earlier books and forcing both Jason and Rachel to rely on companions old and new as they try to interpret what the prophecy actually requires of them before Maldor can consolidate his power further.
