Synopsis

A mysterious blue sleep is spreading across Seattle, leaving people unable to wake, and some of Joanne Walker's fellow police officers are among the sleepers. Doctors can find no physical cause, so Joanne suspects magic. Her own dreams have become vivid and strange, and she thinks they may be messages from Coyote, her spirit guide, who has gone missing. The messages are hard to interpret, though. Joanne has to wake her colleagues, protect the people who are still awake, and work out what her dreams are trying to tell her, all while dealing with her confused feelings about the troubling dreams she keeps having about her boss, Captain Morrison, as the number of sleepers grows.
