Synopsis
Crooked Kingdom begins just days after the events of Six of Crows, as Kaz Brekker's crew scrambles to rescue their teammate Inej, who has been sold into captivity by the merchant Jan Van Eck after he reneged on their deal. Their plan to force a trade by kidnapping Van Eck's pregnant wife quickly runs into trouble when the crew discovers that Van Eck has allied himself with the rival gang leader Pekka Rollins and deputized every gang in the Barrel against them, leaving Kaz and his companions with almost no allies and no easy way out of Ketterdam. First published in 2016, Crooked Kingdom belongs to the The Grishaverse series.
