Synopsis
During a blizzard, travellers are stranded at a remote inn near the Northern Kingdom: miners, nobles, bandits and an aging warrior named Havald, who wants only warmth while he waits to die. Into this mixed company comes Leandra, a half-elf swordmage sent by the queen of Illian to find the lost city of Askir. When Havald notices that something dangerous is hiding among the other guests, he and Leandra are forced to work together. Cut off from help by the snow, they must face an ancient power that has found its way into the inn.
