Synopsis
Jonathan grows weaker in his wheelchair, and he sometimes wakes unable to remember the last few days. In Neschan, Yonathan faces ever more dangerous adventures. Agents of the ruler Bar-Hazzat are hunting him as he tries to reach the Garden of Wisdom and hand the staff Haschevet to the seventh judge. He has to do it before Jonathan's life fades away, because the two boys' fates seem linked. The second book of the Neschan trilogy continues the double life between a sickroom and a world of judges, prophecy and pursuit.
