Synopsis
In the eighteenth book of The Hollows series, a witch coven demands that Rachel Morgan reverse a curse, but the essential spell component required no longer exists in the present day, leaving time travel as her only option. Rachel sets out to locate an Atlantean mirror that once belonged to the dangerous demon Newt, hoping to use it both to undo the curse and to prove to Cincinnati's newly formed witch coven that she does not practice illicit magic. When the time spell malfunctions, it pulls Rachel and the coven's young leader, Elyse, backward through time to a moment just before a pivotal tragedy, stranding them without support in a past Rachel must navigate carefully to get them both home.
