Synopsis
Closing the Halfblood Chronicles trilogy, Elvenborn shifts its focus to a war-torn version of the elf-ruled world where the conflict begun in earlier books has intensified. Its central figure is Kyrtian, an elvenlord who breaks from his peers' customs by treating the humans under him as servants rather than slaves, a stance that sets him apart within elven society. Rising through the ranks to become a military commander, Kyrtian sets out on a quest to locate the Great Portal, the very gateway through which the elves first entered this world generations earlier, hoping that its secrets can explain both his own father's unexplained disappearance and the deeper origins of elvenkind itself. His search unfolds against a backdrop of open civil war, as younger lords across elven society rebel against their fathers' rule.
