In fact he is Prince Adam, sent as a child to live in the human world with his memories altered, so that the evil forces preying on his father's elven kingdom could not find him. When he becomes involved with a woman named Moira and discovers she has elven features, his true heritage begins to catch up with him. The novel is a solo spin-off by Shepherd set in the elf Grove in Dallas, Texas, in the SERRAted Edge world.

Notes

  • Written by Mark Shepherd alone, set in Lackey's SERRAted Edge world; first published November 1994.
  • From the series record (SERRAted Edge): Modern-day novels of elves who race cars and move among humans, set in the same world as the Diana Tregarde and Bedlam's Bard books.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
