Synopsis
Eric Banyon seems settled in New York. He is doing well at Juilliard, has made many friends and has defeated a lord of the Unseleighe Sidhe. The danger is not over, though. Aerune mac Audelaine, whose beloved was killed by mortal men, once tried to destroy the human race, and Eric and the Guardians stopped him and exposed the chemists whose designer drug turned ordinary people into zombie mages. Aerune is patient and holds a grudge. He now has Jeanette Campbell, a former Threshold black-ops agent, and the science behind the murders.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
