Synopsis
Eric Banyon, a bard who has already helped save the world once, moves into a New York apartment hoping for a quiet life. His building turns out to be a safe house for occultist Guardians who protect the city from supernatural evil, and a new threat is rising. Unethical drug researchers have found that certain psychotropic drugs produce remarkable mental powers and plan to build an army of dependent mercenaries. Aerune mac Audelaine, a lord of the dark Unseleighe Sidhe, wants the same drugs to breach the human world. Eric, with an elven half-breed and a gargoyle, enters a three-way battle of wizardry.
