Rosemary Edghill (1956 - April 7, 2026) was an American writer and editor. She began publishing under the lowercase name eluki bes shahar, then adopted Rosemary Edghill at her publisher's suggestion; it became her legal name in 2004. She started with Regency romances and worked mainly in science fiction and fantasy afterwards; her bibliography includes Turkish Delight (1987). Her own series include the Hellflower science fiction novels, the Bast urban mysteries about a New York Wiccan amateur detective, the Twelve Treasures trilogy, the Light books and the Shadow Grail series. She collaborated with Andre Norton on the Carolus Rex books and with Mercedes Lackey on Beyond World's End, Spirits White as Lightning, Mad Maudlin, Bedlam's Edge, Music to My Sorrow and Dead Reckoning, and, as James Mallory, on the Obsidian Mountain, Enduring Flame and Dragon Prophecy trilogies. She lived in upstate New York with cats and King Charles Spaniels and showed her dogs in obedience competitions.
