Synopsis
Set in New York City. Eric Banyon must win custody of his younger brother Magnus from their tyrannical parents. He has money, a powerful lawyer friend in Ria Llewellyn, and magic that could help if the fight turns supernatural. The parents, however, have allied themselves with Billy Fairchild, an evangelist who reforms difficult children and who serves the Unseleighe elves, who feed on human sorrow. If Magnus and Ace, a runaway girl he has befriended, fall into Fairchild's hands, they will be drained of will and talent.
