Synopsis

Ember Queen, the concluding novel of the Ash Princess trilogy, follows Theodosia as she leads a rebel army in open war to liberate her enslaved people and reclaim the throne stolen from her family. Her campaign is complicated by the emergence of a new and formidably powerful Kaiserin, a girl Theo once considered a close friend, who now holds Prinz Søren hostage and commands magic that threatens to overturn everything Theo's rebellion has fought for. As battles spread across the kingdom she once called home, Theo must balance the demands of leading an army with the personal cost of confronting someone she loved, all while the fate of both her people and her enemies hangs on choices she alone can make.
