Synopsis
Enchanters' End Game is the concluding volume of the original Belgariad, opening with the group's efforts split between two fronts: Garion continuing his journey toward the confrontation with the god Torak, and Ce'Nedra taking on the task of rallying and leading an army meant to draw enemy attention away from him. The narrative follows both storylines as they unfold in parallel, with allies and rulers from across the western kingdoms drawn into the mounting conflict. Political and magical threads that have run through the earlier books converge as the separate parties move toward the same distant point, each playing a necessary part in a plan set in motion long before any of them were born. The stakes are framed as nothing less than the fate of the world, resting on a reckoning between Garion and the god who stole the Orb in the series' opening prologue.
