Synopsis
Nell Ingram draws power from the earth and works for PsyLED, the federal unit that monitors paranormal threats. A senator survives an assassination attempt that kills several people and burns down a house. The assassin vanishes from security cameras, so Nell and her team set out to find a killer who may be more or less than human. As they work, the case moves into political intrigue and into Nell's own life. She has to learn what the killer is and who is directing the attacks while she keeps her own abilities in check and works with the people around her.
