Synopsis
God of Clocks, published by Alan Campbell in 2009, concludes the Deepgate Codex. Twelve monstrous arconites advance across the earth under the command of Menoa, Lord of Hell, bent on destroying humanity and enslaving the souls of the dead. In response, a small group of survivors, the assassin Rachel Hael, the blood-witch Mina Greene, the angel Dill, and the war god Hasp, retreat toward the castle of Sabor, the god of clocks, seeking refuge and a way to turn the tide. At the same time, the sea god Cospinol resolves to strike directly at Menoa's stronghold, ordering his enslaved champion John Anchor to drag him and his massive vessel bodily into Hell itself, a desperate gambit that brings the trilogy's war between Earth and Hell to its climax.
