Synopsis
Ashok Vadal lives. The plans of Grand Inquisitor Omand Vokkan have come to fruition, and the land of Lok, where the Age of Law reigns and the casteless are condemned to live as untouchables, is torn by rebellion while the forgotten gods whisper of a hero’s return. Now hailed as a hero of the people, Ashok must face enemies on every side if he and the Sons of the Black Sword are to have any hope of destroying the corrupt Capitol. In a world where gods and demons once walked, he seeks both redemption and vengeance, and a warrior’s heart and a black steel sword may prove to be mankind’s last hope.
