Overview
Larry Correia’s six-novel epic fantasy (2015 to 2025) is set in Lok, a land loosely inspired by India where the Age of Law reigns, the old gods are forbidden and the casteless are condemned to live as untouchables. Ashok Vadal, bearer of an ancient black sword and the most feared of the Protectors who enforce the Law, discovers that his own life is built on a lie, and becomes the unlikely champion of the people he was raised to hunt. The first two novels each won the Dragon Award for Best Fantasy Novel.
