Synopsis

The sixth book in the Iron Druid Chronicles follows Atticus O'Sullivan as he becomes the target of the hunting goddesses Artemis and Diana after offending one of their own, forcing him to flee across modern Europe alongside his apprentice Granuaile and his Irish Wolfhound, Oberon. Complicating the chase, Atticus finds his usual magical means of quick escape unavailable, so the group must rely on more conventional evasion while pursued across several countries. At the same time, the Norse trickster god Loki is working to remove Atticus, whom he sees as the last obstacle standing between him and unleashing Ragnarok, meaning the fugitives are caught between two separate, and equally determined, sets of divine pursuers.
