Synopsis
In a war-torn England, long before her half-brother Arthur becomes king, the young Morgan le Fay grows up willful and neglected. At six she witnesses Uther Pendragon kill her father, the Duke of Cornwall, and trick his way into her mother's bedchamber, an act that leads to the birth of Arthur. As she grows, Morgan discovers that she has magical powers and a connection to the faerie world. The novel follows her from a difficult child into a complex young woman who must come to accept a destiny she has long resisted.
