Synopsis
Into a Dark Realm is the second book of the Darkwar Saga, following the sorcerer Leso Varen after he escapes to the parallel world of Kelewan by seizing the body of a Tsurani magician. With the danger he represents now spreading beyond Midkemia, Pug leads an expedition alongside his son Magnus, the gambler-mystic Nakor, and the volatile young fighter Ralan Bek into the Dasati realm, an alien and hostile plane of existence, in search of knowledge that might help them defeat the enemy threatening their home. The journey into this unfamiliar realm exposes the group to a civilization built on entirely different, and often brutal, terms, forcing them to adapt quickly if they are to find the key to stopping the invasion before it reaches Midkemia in full force.
