Synopsis
Jade Legacy, the 2021 third and final novel in the Green Bone Saga, opens in the aftermath of the wide distribution of jade that followed the previous book, as the substance's growing availability abroad draws unwelcome international attention to Kekon and its clans. Spanning more than two decades, the novel follows the Kaul siblings, now led by Hilo and Shae, as they work to secure No Peak's future and prepare a new generation of the family to inherit the clan's responsibilities. At the same time, the rival Mountain clan continues to expand its own reach, and Kekon finds itself drawn into worldwide upheaval as foreign powers and clashing factions compete for influence over jade and the abilities it grants. Against this backdrop of shifting alliances and rising international conflict, the Kauls must decide what kind of future they want for their clan and their country.
