Synopsis
Eleven years after the miracle at Tahai Aze, Elin has married the man she loves and become a mother. When she is ordered to find out why Tōda are dying in great numbers in one village, she runs into the truth behind the forbidden knowledge that once cost her own mother her life. For the sake of her husband and son, and to save many other lives, she sets out to uncover the secrets hidden in the kingdom’s history, travelling towards a remote valley said to be home to the descendants of people who survived a great catastrophe long ago.
