Synopsis

The story returns to Yorsh, the last elf, now grown up, but its central figure is Rankstrail, a mercenary who fights orcs for a living. Yorsh is a hero by destiny. Rankstrail has no such destiny and has to find his own way through the choices he makes, including his mistakes, with love helping him choose well. The novel mixes adventure, fantastic battles and tenderness. Underneath runs a question about free will: is an orc someone who was born that way, or someone who chose to become one? It is the sequel to The Last Elf.
