Synopsis

In Lucinda's Secret, the Grace children travel to visit their great-aunt Lucinda, long confined to a psychiatric hospital after claims about faeries that no one in the family believed, hoping she can shed light on the disappearance of their ancestor Arthur Spiderwick decades earlier. Lucinda's cryptic, seemingly disjointed answers turn out to contain real clues once Jared, Simon, and Mallory learn to interpret them correctly, pointing the children toward faerie territory connected to Arthur's original disappearance. Following the trail Lucinda has unknowingly preserved for years, the siblings venture further into the hidden magical world surrounding their family's estate than they have gone before, in search of what actually became of their long-lost relative.
