Synopsis

In Gaul, during a war between Celtic tribes, Ambigat kills his brother-in-law Sacrovèse and exiles his own sister and her two sons to the kingdom of the Bituriges. When the two boys reach the age to bear arms, their uncle sends them to make war on the dangerous Ambrones. So begins the story of Bellovèse, son of Sacrovèse, told in his own voice, in the first branch of a saga that plunges into the harsh, violent and magical world of the Celts.
