Overview
Jean-Philippe Jaworski's Rois du Monde is a historical fantasy set among the Celtic tribes of ancient Gaul, narrated by Bellovèse, son of Sacrovèse, whose uncle, the high king Ambigat, killed his father and exiled him to the land of the Bituriges. The first branch, Même pas mort (2013), won the Prix Imaginales; the second, Chasse royale, followed in three volumes (2015-2019). The author has said he has resumed work on the third branch, La Grande Jument.
