Synopsis

Magic Triumphs is an urban fantasy novel by American writer Ilona Andrews and is the tenth and final novel in the Kate Daniels series. As an uneasy truce with the ancient sorcerer Roland begins to deteriorate, a mysterious and menacing box arrives, and the city's Witch Oracle reports unsettling visions of blood, fire, and human bones, warning that a reckoning connected to Kate's own hidden ancient lineage is finally approaching. Facing a threat rooted deep in her family's past and drawing on powers she has always been reluctant to fully use, Kate must combine forces with the unlikeliest of allies if Atlanta, and everyone she has come to protect over the course of the series, is to survive what is coming. The confrontation forces Kate to finally reckon openly with the legacy she inherited and has spent years trying to outrun.
